Cloth production on a to 5.000 m² surfaceThe company VTT is specialized on production of nonwovens. The young company, located in Chemnitz (D) is using the latest technologies, machines and facilities. Accordingly the decision to build a new, modern building needed to be taken. The construction works have been carried out by ASTRON Builder HABAS AG, an experienced building company that also planned the building techniques, production techniques and outside facilities. Since completion of the complex the company even takes care of the technical facility managament. The project distinguishes itself by its size of nearly 5,000 m². The whole complex consists of a 39 x 120 m AZM1 production hall with an annexed multi-storey building, accomodating the offices. The choice for roof and wall of the hall was for double skin, using the popular PR panels in Aluzinc and PA in white aluminium. Green downspouts, framings and profiles are giving nice colourful accents. The hall is divided into two parts by a F90 fire wall; a fire melder is directly connected to the fire brigade and sliding doors for fire protection guarantee a high fire security level. A large number of smoke vents, continuous windows and sectional doors are more details adding to the high level quality to this building. |
