Astron- Industrial building – France – Steel Construction – France
A new architectural building signed GerimThis small, but truly outstanding steel building for Ricoh in Cross St Ouen (France), won the "ASTRON Building of the Month" contest in December for French Builder Gérim. A skillful blend of functionality and aesthetics, without the extremes of design found in many buildings, won over the ASTRON adjudicators. The Ricoh Group, one of the world’s leading companies in the design and manufacturer of copiers for office use, awarded the contract for this 310 m² building to Builder Gérim largely due to the builder’s excellent reputation for quality. Gérim backed up its technical and marketing arguments with an extensive reference list of top-notch projects for many prestigious companies. The entrance, with its large areas of glass and two tubular columns, not only looks nice but is also highly functional. The combination of cassette panels and horizontally installed Sinutec panels, capped with a matching parapet, combine to create just the right kind of distinguished, welcoming building demanded by a company such as Ricoh. |
